Crockmeter - 2 Station

Application:

Crockmeter determines the amount of color transferred from the surface of dyed mateirals and colored textile materials to other surfaces by rubbing. It employes white cloth squares both dry and wet with water.

Crockmeter applies to textiles made from all kinds of fibres in the form of yarn or fabric.

 

Principle:

Rub a colored test specimens with a white test cloth under specified conditions; assess Color transferred to the crocking cloth by comparising with the Gray Scale for Staining.
