Application:
Foaming Characteristics Tester is suitable for the determination of the foaming characteristics of lubricating oils at 24℃ and 93.5℃. Means of the empirically rating the foaming tendency and the stability of the foam are described.
The tendency of oils to form can be a serious problem in systems such as high-speed gearing, high-volume pumping, and splash lubrication. Inadequate lubrication, cavitation, and overflow loss of lubricant can lead to mechanical failure. This instrument is used in the evaluation of oils for such conditions.
Feature:
1. Desktop instrument with high and low borosilicate glass water baths and 4 independent air flow meters.
2. Microprocessor PID temperature controller for temperature control and display, it features temperature correction, self-justify and self-diagnosis functions.
3. Temperature test points: 24℃±0.1℃, 93.5℃± 0.1℃with 2 sets of timers for low and high temperature water bath respectively.
4. The instrument is equipped with air pump, air filter and 4-way independent air flow meters.
5. Equipped with fast heating device to improve work efficiency and save testing time.
