ICI Pilling & Snagging Tester - 6 Station

Application:

ICI Pilling & Snagging Tester determines the pilling resistance and change of appearance of textile fabrics. The internal surfaces of the pilling box should be lined with cork jointing material with thickness 3.2mm, and the box rotates at 60±2r/min in horizontal axis.

 

Principle:

Mount the test specimens on the polyurethane tubes of Pilling & Snagging Tester and tumbled ramdomly in a cork-lined box under specific conditions. After a certain period of tumbling, the specimens will have changes in appearance, then assess against a standard rating scale.
