Application:

Rotary Vertical Crockmeter determines the amount of color transferred from the surface of colored textile materials to other surfaces by rubbing. It’s applicable to textiles made from all fibers in the form of yarn or fabric, whether dyed, printed or colored.

 

Principle:

Hold a test specimen at the base of Rotary Vertical Crockmeter and rub with standard test squares under controlled conditions.

Assess color transferred to the test squares by comparison with the Gray Scale for Staining.
