Temperature Humidity reliability test specification for Keyboard

 

Purpose:

Establish and standardize the method and process of ambient temperature and humidity reliability test for keyboard and mouse products to ensure the accuracy of test results. 


 

Scope: 

Applicable to all keyboard and mouse finished products inspection.

 

Test item:

1. High temperature storage test

A. Place the sample in Temperature Humidity Reliability test chamber with temperature at 65+2℃, humidity at 93%RH for 72H.

B. After the test is completed, the sample is removed from the Temperature Humidity Reliability test chamber and placed at room temperature for 2H to test whether its function is normal.

 

2. Low temperature storage test

A Place the sample in Temperature Humidity Reliability test chamber for dry test with temperature at -40℃ for 72H.

B. After the test is completed, the sample is removed from the Temperature Humidity Reliability test chamber and placed at room temperature for 2H to test whether its function is normal

 

3. Temperature shock test

A. Place the sample in a Thermal Shock test chamber with temperature at -40℃ for 2H.

B. Place the sample in a Shock test chamber for dry test within one minute and set the temperature at 65℃ for 2H.

C. Perform the above test cycle for 5 times, and test whether the sample function is normal after completion of the test.

 

4. High temperature operation test

A Place the sample in a Temperature Humidity Reliability test chamber with temperature at 65℃, DC50V+5%, and the holding time is 2H

B. After the test, the sample was placed at room temperature for 2 hours to test whether its function was normal.

 

5. Low temperature operation test

A. Place the sample in a Temperature Humidity Reliability test chamber with temperature at -40℃, DC50V+5%, and keep it for 2H

B. After the test, the sample was placed at room temperature for 2 hours to test whether its function was normal.

 

6. High temperature and humidity operation test

A Place the sample in a Temperature Humidity Reliability test chamber with temperature at 65℃, DC50V+5%, humidity at 93%RH, and retention time at 2H

B. After the test, the sample was placed at room temperature for 2H to test whether its function was normal
