PV Modules Mechanical Load Tester

Mechanical load tester determines the compression resistance of photovoltaic modules under static and dynamic loads such as wind, snow, or ice at different installation angles. The instrument adopts dynamic pressure holding technology, which simulates the PV modules under alternating pressure load test in positive and negative directions. It can accelerate the material fatigue and evaluate the reliability of PV modules.

Application:

 Mechanical load tester determines the compression resistance of photovoltaic modules under static and dynamic loads such as wind, snow, or ice at different installation angles.

 The instrument adopts dynamic pressure holding technology, which simulates the PV modules under alternating pressure load test in positive and negative directions. It can accelerate the material fatigue and evaluate the reliability of PV modules.

 Labtech can customize the instrument as per the dimensions of PV modules with a certain amount of  cylinders and suckers.

The instrument can perform both dynamic and static load tests.

Static load test: max. push pressure load: up to +5,400Pa (adjustable)

              Max. pull pressure load: up to -2,400 Pa (adjustable)

Dynamic load test: up to 1,000 Pa, 1,000 cycles, test frequency 7±3s.

Pressure control accuracy: 5%

Cylinder: low friction force pneumatic cylinder.

Force measuring method: tensile pressure sensor (accuracy 0.1N).

Frame material: aluminum profile with resistance to deformation under pressure load test.

Test module size: up to 2000*1000mm (can be customized).

Pneumatic cylinder: 32pcs, stroke 125mm.

Suction cup: 32pcs, diameter 120mm (1 cylinder attached 1 suction cup).

Distance between suction cups (vertical and horizontal directions): ≤200mm.

Rotation angle of the suction cups and upper joints: ≥15°.

Electrical continuity measurement: DC power supply, 150V/2A, real-time monitor the internal current continuity of modules.

Customized test platform with clamps can fit modules in different sizes with sliding cross and release levers.
