Application:

UV Chamber simulates the damage caused by long-term exposure of PV modules to outdoors and UV in sunlight.

It’s used to precondition PV modules with ultra-violet (UV) radiation before thermal cycle / humidity freeze tests.

 

Specifications:

Chamber internal dimensions: 2100*2100*2000mm.

Effective irradiance area: simultaneously place 2pcs PV modules in size 2000*1000mm.

Chamber materials: internal - SUS#304, external - Cold-rolled steel plate with baked finish.

Insulation material: rigid polyurethane foam, thickness 100mm, solar and high temperature resistance.

Light source: Osram lamp x 10pcs, life time: 1,000 hours, provide an extra set of lamps for back up.

Wavelength: UVA (320~400nm); UVB (280~320nm), each 1 optical fiber probe.

Single UVB lamp (280~320nm) has the energy ratio of 3~10% in the total energy wavelength between 280~400nm.

Irradiance range: 150~250W/m2 at wavelength 280~400nm.

Irradiance uniformity: better than ±15%.

PV module surface temperature: 60±5℃, accuracy: ±1℃, resolution: 0.1℃.

Features:

Light source: Germany Osram lamps, with long lifetime, high efficiency and reliable performance.

Only 10pcs lamps can have effective irradiance area 2000*2000mm, greatly shorten test time and improve work efficiency to reduce testing cost.

The chamber materials are completely UV isolation, with good sealing and insulation performance, and environmental protection.

Double door design, inside chamber with two layers: the upper layer is light source and heat dissipation system, the lower is platform for placing test sample.

Lamps are mounted horizontally, the surface of PV modules is vertical to light source, which can maximize the efficiency and intensity of light source, and tailor-made reflective lampshade maximizes the uniformity also.

Professional UVA and UVB optical fiber probe with accurate data acquisition.

PLC touch screen controller real-time monitor and display temperature, UVA and UVB irradiance, test time.

Air-cooled temperature control system, temperature sensor accurately control the temperature of PV modules surface during testing at 60℃±5℃

The machine can be automatic shutdown after reaching set value.

Save test data (temperature, irradiance curve) and output test report are available.

Safety protection alarm device: the chamber will automatically start air cooling system when the temperature of inner chamber reaches the set protection value.
